Unboxing The Eco-friendly IRIVER P7

The packing of the new iriver P7 has great appeal design. There are only a few companies on the market offering such unique package for a PMP player. Before using the iriver P7, the entire unboxing experience is great and full of surprise.



There is a orange cover to separate the player and the accessories and you can find a little hole on the cover.



Open the orange cover, you will first see the quick start guide.



Then, you will find other accessories inside a little white box.



Coming with the iriver P7, the package will include earphones, USB cable, warranty booklet, installation CD
, quick start guide and metal stylus.



The quick start guide has included 28 different languages. It provides a simple and easy to understand instruction.



The earphones that come with P7 look pretty stylish. Of course, you can't compare it with other replacement earphones but they look decent.



On the player, there is no place to store this metal stylus on. This is a draw back. But I think you can attend it with your key chain.



Let's talk a quick look on the iriver P7. The player looks firm and solid. I can say the build quality is top notch but it is a bit bulky. This reminds me the iriver H300 series. The on/off switch, volume control and menu button are on the top on the player.



On the right side of the player, you will find the micoSD slot, mic, lock and headphones jack.



According to iriver, the P7 package is reusable and it can be an accessory container, a business card holder, a pen holder, a picture frame etc. Anyway, it is a great looking box. I’m sure I’ll keep it for a period.

iRiver New Wi-Fi PMP

iRiver launches in Korea the new P35 portable media player. This new player will come in three different models. One of them is the P35 WiFi has caught our attention. Equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD and 16GB storage, this player includes all the standard features including music and video playback, FM tuner, microSD/SDHC cards slot and more. The P35 can also read MS Office files, PDF, HTML, and HWP. It has built-in Flash Lite 3.0 player.

New UI, Open API UCI Widger, G-sensor….

One of the exciting parts of this player is the new UI and Open API UCI Widget. It also can connect the network via Wi-Fi for web browsing and connecting to FTP server. Also, the P35 is equipped with the G-sensor which allows the user to pivot the interface by simply turning the device. The G-sensor also gives the user the cool and convenient ability to change the song they are listening to by shaking the player, instead of using buttons.
