New Android-based HTC Hero

The new HTC Hero features a 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen with an antifingerprint screen coating. Powered by the Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz processor, the HTC Hero is using the new Sense UI which allows users to customize a selection of widgets on the home page and give them more access to the information they want. I also include GPS, a digital compass, gravity sensor, a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD expansion slot. A dedicated search button on the phone provides a more contextual search, looking through not only your contact list and e-mail but also Twitter and other areas of the device. The phone will be available by July in Europe but I have not yet received price information.
