Using a same packing style as the E100, this E50 gives me a great first impression. You will find the red "52 Hours Playback Time" sticker which point out the great selling point for the new E50.
Similar to other iriver players, E50 has all the accessories and user manual inside a separate box. This is a good way to organize.
On the back of the package, you will find the product specification in 12 different languages. Iriver has been using the same form and style for years and this show their care to global users.
A software CD and E50 Quick Start Guide will be put inside the small plastic bag.
Also, it will include the USB cable and new design earbuds. Both of them will come in Black color.
The size of the iriver E50 is 38.8 (W) × 88.0 (H) × 7.7 (D)mm only. Comparing to the E100, this E50 is more pocketable. For a player which can play videos, this is a good size.
The E50 has solid build quality. Using black clear finish on the side, it gives out a good looking light reflection. On the control panel, it is using metallic. You can also see the mic and reset button on the left hand edge.
The on/off switch is on the right hand edge of the player. You will also find the hold switch on the back.
On the bottom of the player, the USB port and headphones jack are localed in here. You can also have a closer look on the metal surface. I'm very happy with the build quality.
