Once again, Samsung show their commitment to protect the environment through the design of eco-friendly products.Samsung unveiled the innovative solar powered full-touch screen phone “Blue Earth”. This new touch screen phone is solar powered and the solar panel located on the back of the phone. The phone is made by recycled plastic called PCM to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions in the manufacturing process. The packaging of the phone is also made from recycled paper, and come energy efficient charger. Also, it is free from harmful substances such as Brominated Flame Retardants, Beryllium and Phthalate.
There is no word on pricing or availability as of yet, but this is a nice step in the right direction for handset makers.
